Modern Fluid Power Inc. was established in February 1970 in a rural community on the outskirts of Blanchester, Ohio by Richard Clifton. We remain at the same location today. We elected to stay small with a few dedicated employees.
With valve manufacturing experience, product application experience and sales experience, we realized that customers were not receiving the type of service desired in the application of product. This is our goal today.
Engine and compressor, machine tool, and specialized industrial equipment manufacturers were the back-bone of our success.
We have broadened our market to include pipe valve supply houses, the process industry, and MRO’s as well as O.E.M.’s.
We expanded our product mix from 4-5 suppliers to over 40 quality manufacturing suppliers. Sale of product was initially limited to Southern Ohio. With national internet exposure, our sales are now nationwide.
